About Us
The Buick Car Club of Australia Inc Qld (BCCAQ) was formed in 1975, and we celebrated our fiftieth year of operation in 2025 with a National event in Hervey Bay which drew Buicks from all the Eastern States and South Australia. See the past events page for more details and photos from that event. There are approximately 100 members spread not only across the state but interstate also.
Members’ cars range from the very early years of the Buick Motor Company through to the modern era and while many are fully restored, there are equally as many that are in as found condition or due for restoration. We encourage membership for all Buick owners and regardless of the condition of your Buick, or even a lack of a Buick, is no impediment to membership.
The Club holds regular runs on a monthly basis with scheduled club meetings held either at the clubrooms at 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale or on runs.
Members receive a monthly copy of The Buick News magazine as part of their membership fee, which is $75 per year (includes a hard copy of The Buick News delivered to your home) or $40 per year (includes an emailed version of The Buick News eMagazine)
Membership applications requests can be lodged via this website (preferred method) or posted to the club on a hard copy downloaded from this website. A membership application form can be viewed HERE. All applications are subject to a committee approval process prior to acceptance.
